A review names the plan we examined, the price on the day we checked, and whether we used the product or read its documentation. Those are different things, and conflating them is how software writing stops being worth reading.

Pricing in this category changes constantly, so every review carries the date its figures were verified. A review that will not tell you when it was written is not telling you enough to act on.

No vendor pays for coverage, sees a page before publication, or influences a conclusion. Where a paid plan was needed to assess something properly, we paid for it.
