The short version: this site collects as little as it can, sells nothing, and has no advertising or affiliate tracking on it.

What is collected

Standard server logs, which include IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used to keep the site running and to understand which pages are read. They are not used to build a profile of you and are not shared.

If analytics are in use, they are configured to anonymise IP addresses and set no cross-site identifiers.

What is not collected

• No advertising cookies, because there is no advertising.
• No affiliate tracking, because there are no affiliate links.
• No third-party fonts or scripts loaded from external hosts. Typefaces are served from this domain, so no request about you goes to another company when you read a page.
• No account is required to read anything, so there is nothing to sign up to and no password held.

If you email us

The message and address are kept for as long as needed to respond and, where relevant, to keep a record of a correction. They are not added to any mailing list.

Your rights
